THE BUILD PROCESS
What working with Werkly actually looks like.
Every engagement follows the same sequence. No surprises about what happens next or when you need to show up.

Once the contract is signed and deposit is received, we send the intake form and book the discovery session. The intake form comes first so the session itself is sharp and focused, not spent collecting basics.
Depending on the Level, discovery involves one to three calls across different stakeholders. Level 1 is one 60-minute session with whoever owns ops. Level 2 adds a separate call with the ops hire. Level 3 brings in two to three function leads as well, each in their own session.
Your time: 60 minutes for Level 1. Around 105 minutes across two sessions for Level 2. Around 135 minutes across three sessions for Level 3.

This is entirely on us. We take what we learned in discovery and build every foundation around your specific org. Your roles, your decision patterns, your actual handoff points. Not a framework you have to figure out. Built from what we found.
For Level 1, this phase requires nothing from you. For Levels 2 and 3, we may send a few async questions to the person closest to the day-to-day work when something needs clarification. No meetings. No calendar holds. Just a quick reply when it comes up.
Your time: None for Level 1. Occasional async replies for Levels 2 and 3.

We walk through everything we built together. This is not a presentation, it’s a working session. You tell us what lands and what needs to change. One round of revisions follows the call.
For Level 3, this session includes the COO and at least two function leads.
This is where the system gets calibrated to exactly how your org runs.
Your time: 60 to 90 minutes

We run a live session to walk your team through the system, answer questions, and make sure everyone leaves knowing how it works.
For Level 3 the founder and COO get separate handoff sessions because they need different things from the same system.
The full workspace transfers to your account at the end.
Your time: 45 to 105 minutes depending on tier

Questions can come up after a system goes live.
You have direct async access to the person who built your system for 14 days after a Level 1 handoff, 21 days after Level 2, and 28 days after Level 3.

Not for the most part. For Level 1 the discovery call is just you. For Levels 2 and 3 we bring in a small number of people early, the ops hire for Level 2, and two to three function leads for Level 3, so we understand how the org actually operates at every level. Your broader team isn’t involved until the install session at the end.

That’s what the install session is for. We walk your team through the system live so it’s not a doc that arrives in their inbox. We also give you a communication template for introducing it. Adoption is always on the team, but we set it up to land well.

For the DIY, each level includes access to the ones below it so you don’t need to buy them separately. For a build engagement, Level 1 foundations need to be in place before we build Level 2 or 3. If they’re not, that’s a conversation we have in discovery and we scope accordingly.

Level 1 runs four weeks from discovery call to handoff. Level 2 runs six weeks. Level 3 runs eight weeks. Those timelines assume the foundations from earlier levels are already in place. If they aren’t, we assess what exists in discovery and scope the timeline from there. We’ll always tell you what we found and what it means for the engagement before work begins.
The timelines are sequenced so the build weeks require no meetings from you. You show up at the start, in the middle for the review, and at the end for the install. Everything in between is on us.

How much of my time does the build engagement actually take?
It depends on the level. Level 1 is roughly three hours total across the full engagement.
Level 2 is closer to four and a half hours, because there are two discovery calls and a longer review session.
Level 3 is around seven hours across three discovery calls, a 90-minute review with multiple stakeholders, and separate handoff sessions for the COO and the founder.
None of that time is during the build weeks. It is spread across the start, middle, and end of the engagement.

You have 30 days from the DIY purchase to upgrade. If upgraded, the DIY price comes off the build price - no questions asked.

Every build engagement includes an async support window after handoff:
14 days for Level 1
21 days for Level 2
and 28 days for Level 3.
If you want ongoing support beyond that, there’s a monthly retainer option for each level - two calls a month, full async access during business hours, and a quarterly system check-in.
The retainer price scales with the level:
Level 1 is $750 a month
Level 2 is $1,500 a month
and Level 3 is $2,500 a month.
